Who We Are
Learning Through Sport was launched in April 2006 as a family run business, since then the company has gone from strength to strength. From September 2011 we will be working with 21 different schools within Hampshire delivering sessions including CPD curriculum work with teachers (helping give them new games ideas), football, netball and multi-skill after school clubs.
Learning Through Sport continues to grow with more term time sessions, pre-school funky fitness sessions, give us back our game sessions and school holiday courses. LTS also has established close links with Portsmouth and Reading Football Clubs repectively. 2011 has also seen us launch our football development centre in partnership with Basingstoke Town Football Club, based at The Camrose ground.
We now have a strong team of part time coaches working with us as well, all of whom have extensive knowledge and understanding of the sports and sessions they coach as well as sharing our passion and enthusiasm to provide all able and disabled young people with a fun and safe quality education through sport.
Our business philosophy is to put the young people we coach at the centre of everything we do; it should always be about them. We know and appreciate all young people are different and learn differently but hopefully the sessions we deliver meet there needs and help them fulfil their maximum physical literacy potential in a safe fun environment based around the companies methodology triangle of working always with the player, parent and coach.
